Happens during startup. Stalls at that screen. (When I press esc early in the process. If I don't hit esc early enough, the fedora logo goes away but I'm leftat a blue screen)

Do you have an older kernel installed that you can boot into so you can build debug kernels? If not I can tell you how to fix this from rescue mode.
My older kernels also now segfault when booting. I have a fedora live CD that I can boot from if that helps.
You are going to want to clone the btrfs-progs-unstable git tree git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/mason/btrfs-progs-unstable.git build it and run btrfs-zero-log /your/device and you should be good to go.

This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 19 development cycle. Changing version to '19'.
