Please, ensure that the SELinux error is gone (by running the restorecon or disabling the SELinux). Then follow the steps in section "Debugging NetworkManager 0.8.x 3G connections" on http://live.gnome.org/NetworkManager/Debugging and paste here the logs from NM and MM.
After reupdating NetworkManager I can't reproduce it anymore.
I'm affected by this bug too. I followed the debugging instructions and then it worked. After rebooting it stoped working again: here are my /var/log/messages upon first try after reboot and second try to connect to 3G. Also, I'm not prompted the PIN question any more... but can't find the key in keyring manager also. ############# first try ################# Jul 5 09:25:46 eee NetworkManager[611]: <info> Activation (ttyUSB0) starting connection 'Alice Option Mobile' Jul 5 09:25:46 eee NetworkManager[611]: <info> (ttyUSB0): device state change: disconnected -> prepare (reason 'none') [30 40 0] Jul 5 09:25:46 eee NetworkManager[611]: <info> Activation (ttyUSB0) Stage 1 of 5 (Device Prepare) scheduled...
