Red Hat Product Errata RHBA-2012:0175 0 normal SHIPPED_LIVE Cluster_Administration bug fix and enhancement update 2012-02-20 14:55:09 UTC

Description Perry Myers 2011-06-30 22:22:10 UTC
+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #718083 +++

Description of problem:
The following article:
https://access.redhat.com/kb/docs/DOC-40821
Is published in the "Support Essentials" section of the Knowledge Base, meaning it is no longer hidden behind the RHN login process.

We should advertise this article widely, putting it in a prominent place on each of the Cluster docs (Cluster_General and Administration).

This article also contains a comprehensive set of links to other public support articles relating to HA

Comment 1 Steven J. Levine 2011-08-16 17:15:06 UTC
This reference has been added to Cluster Administration for RHEL 6.2 (and it should also be in the new HA Add-On Overview), but this BZ is for RHEL 5 -- do we need to add this to the Cluster documents for RHEL 5 as well as RHEL 6?

Comment 2 Steven J. Levine 2011-11-01 19:53:22 UTC
I see that the article itself references a RHEL 5 environment, so I'm adding this reference to the RHEL 5. cluster admin document.

"For information on best practices for deploying and upgrading Red Hat
Enterprise Linux 5 Advanced Platform (Clustering and GFS/GFS2),
refer to the article "Red Hat Enterprise Linux Cluster, High Availability,
and GFS Deployment Best Practices" on Red Hat Customer Portal at
https://access.redhat.com/kb/docs/DOC-40821."

I have updated my draft and checked the files into the SVN repository.
