Description of problem: If you call xdg-email, it passes only a value truncated from given parameter. See example below. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): xdg-utils-1.0.2-21.20101028.fc14.noarch How reproducible: always Steps to Reproduce: 1. $ xdg-email "bla?Subject=Test&In-Reply-To=%3C20110701105255.4da343f6%40lokalhorst.lokal%3E" 2. 3. Actual results: Claws-Mail only gets the To: address but neither Subject nor additional headers. Expected results: Claws-Mail shows a compose window with all correctly splitted parameter values. Additional info: This works with direct call to claws-mail: $ claws-mail "bla?Subject=Test&In-Reply-To=%3C20110701105255.4da343f6%40lokalhorst.lokal%3E" See also: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=659782 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=659786
It seems to happen also in Slackware. I guess an upstream issue then.
Yes, seems xdg-mail could use some love.
From http://cgit.freedesktop.org/xdg/xdg-utils/tree/ChangeLog > 2011-08-12 Rex Dieter <rdieter> > * xdg-email fails with unicode strings if using gawk (BR13139) > * xdg-email: Thunderbird 5 needs unescaped addresses (BR40041) Well, I doubt I can reproduce this bug. :/
