Description of problem: Installing with anaconda in gui mode ALL dialogs do not fit into a 800x600 screen. For all dialogs in no case the "OK" or "Next" buttons are hidden behind the part of the screen shown. On systems with 800x600 it is a lot like a blind flight to select the proper buttons, cause you can't see them. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): anaconda 15.31 (?) How reproducible: Allways Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start Fedora 15 install DVD or CD in a system only capable of 800x600 desktop resolution. 2. Watch the screen build up, cutting off the right part of all dialogs (as they are wider than 800 pixels). 3. Actual results: Dialogs are formatet for a screen wider than 800 pixels Expected results: Use the given resolution 800x600, don't try to use more. Additional info:
We're working on redesigning the UI so there might be something we can do here, but honestly it's not a real priority. Part of the problem is that some of the installation steps are just so verbose that we need all the space we can get in order to present a reasonable UI without having a ton of extra screens.
