When scheduling the installation of a package that is older than the one installed in the system: ie. using the API the scheduled action reports it succeed but if we examine the system we can see how the newer version is still installed, therefore the success status reported is missleading.

Actually, yum (on RHEL6) behaves in the same way as described in the #Description.
