Description Nick Strugnell 2002-08-20 15:50:39 UTC
From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.0; Windows NT; DigExt)

Description of problem:
The installer occasionally has problems displaying pixmaps
from /usr/share/pixmaps on a Dell 2650

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:
Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start installer
2. Wait for a python traceback
3. Sometimes the error is fatal (e.g. cannot draw the map used in time zone
selection) in which case anaconda will popup a dialog with the traceback - look
for a gdk_imlib error: cannot load pixmap blah)
4. Sometimes the error is nonfatal and the only indication is the gdk_imlib
error on the F1 console

Actual Results: Installer occasionally hangs - the errors are not really
reproducable - on one boot you may get a hang on the map, on another the map
may display fine

Expected Results: Should proceed with no errors

Additional info:

Server has PERC 3/di controller, 2x Qlogic 2310F HBAs and an AIC7xxx SCSI card

Interactive graphical install from CDROM

Comment 3 Michael Fulbright 2002-08-22 16:55:20 UTC
And test mode works fine?

Have you verified the CDs?
