Description of problem:
Files installed in /usr/bin by the PyMca package are not set as executable -
particularly '/usr/bin/pymca'

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
At least 4.4.0 and 4.4.1

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. sudo yum install PyMca
2. ls -la /usr/bin/pymca
3.
  
Actual results:
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 163 Jul 26  2010 /usr/bin/pymca

Expected results:
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 163 Jul 26  2010 /usr/bin/pymca

Good catch.

That's odd, I have no idea why it didn't work before. Should be fixed in PyMca-4.4.1-4.p1 .

Package PyMca-4.4.1-4.p1.fc15:
* should fix your issue,
* was pushed to the Fedora 15 testing repository,
* should be available at your local mirror within two days.
Update it with:
# su -c 'yum update --enablerepo=updates-testing PyMca-4.4.1-4.p1.fc15'
as soon as you are able to.
Please go to the following url:
https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/PyMca-4.4.1-4.p1.fc15
then log in and leave karma (feedback).

PyMca-4.4.1-4.p1.fc14 has been pushed to the Fedora 14 stable repository.  If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report.
