Description Olivier BONHOMME 2011-07-14 16:51:10 UTC
Description of problem:

It is not possible to open a GNOME 3 session using any French locale. After entering the password, only the background image is visible => gnome-shell is never launched.

The Fedora System is launched on a guest Virtualbox 4.10.

How reproducible:

Configure a GNOME 3 session with the French locale fr_FR.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Launch the Gnome Control center
2. Go to the User Accounts menu
3. Change the language to French (France)
4. Save the changes
5. Quit and relaunch the session

Actual results:

GNOME 3 session hangs on login.

Expected results:

GNOME 3 session should be opened and operationnal.

Actually, it was a virtualbox bug. Corrected in the version 4.0.12.

Please see : http://www.virtualbox.org/ticket/8916

Sorry for the noise.
