Hi Christoph,

thanks for pointing this out! I have overlooked this dependency. I have updated hwloc to version 1.2 as requested in BZ 717027.

I'm going to to contact Deji Akingunola <dakingun> who is a maintainer of mpich2 package to see if he can provide a new build which will use hwloc 1.2 (and libhwloc.so.3).

Thanks
Jiri

Hi,

new mpich2 build is available now. Thanks Deji!

Latest mpich2 build is using hwloc 1.2. You can test it, please see

https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/mpich2-1.4-1.fc15.1

Thanks
Jirka

Same problem again with hwloc.i686 0:1.3-0.fc15

Comment 4 Jiri Hladky 2011-11-30 22:17:12 UTC
Hi,

I'm sorry about that. I have asked the packager of mpich2 to rebuild the rpm.

I have also created an experimental build, please grab it at
http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=3554476

Thanks
Jirka
