Description sd.domrep 2011-07-17 08:36:40 UTC
Description of problem:
kernel 3.0-0.rc7.git0.1.fc16.i686
Can't boot at all.
I have i686 laptop and it hangs in random points within systemd startup.
So the last time it was at: system setup keyboard, another time at: stdio syslog bridge, another time at: apply kernel variables.

I do not have any kind of error messages, system hangs and all I can do is turn if off.

The only thing which can help is "selinux=0". With it in grub I can boot up to graphical level.

Additional info:

Upstart perfectly booted my system up.
No errors and no problems.
Selinux works also.

So, I going to stay with it by now.

It looks like this particular problem solved since kernel-3.0-0.rc7.git3.1.fc16, I did not try kernel-3.0-0.rc7.git10.1.fc16, but with kernel-3.0.0-1.fc16 I do not see this hangs.

So, this bug may be closed.
Thanks.
