Feature not present in 5.0.1 CR1
Giving a patch , see https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/GUVNOR-283.
Patch has been applied on behalf of Ryan Zhang. As same problem exists on trunk as well, same patch will be applied to the trunk later.
The fix are located at https://svn.jboss.org/repos/labs/labs/jbossrules/soa_branches/BRMS-5.0.1 at revision r29216, 29210
Verified in CR2 - when the http://localhost:8080/jboss-brms URL is accessed - the cursor is in the username field.
added to BRMS 5.0 CP01 release notes as resolved: GUVNOR-283 The log-in dialog box's User Name field now receives focus by default when the page loads.
Draft release note text states: The user had to manually select the login screen's username field before typing his or her name. The focus is now automatically set on that field so there is no need to have to select it.
Momentarily reopening to update release notes statistics.

We have a solution but it requires gwt 2.1 (which is currently used in trunk). Production branch is still on gwt 2.0.4. Not sure if we should be upgrading gwt at this point, but if that is OK then let me know. Otherwise the upgrade should happen for the next release naturally.
