Documented as a Resolved Issue in 5.0.2:

GUVNOR-305
When using Internet Explorer 7, the "Refreshing item" dialog did not automatically close when archiving assets. This dialog was updating the displayed meta-data for the asset and was not necessary. This dialog has been removed.
