I from Shanghai China. My Drools version is Drools5 M5.

I get some errors from Drools ide when I use Chinese characters in dsl file and use it in dslr file.

I think support Chinese characters is very important,so i hope drools team can fix this bug in next Drools version.

Thanks.

For documenting this in the Release Notes, can you please confirm the following and fill in the missing information. Dot point explanations are fine:

The CAUSE (what was actually broken)
 * A problem with unicode in the parser?????

CONSEQUENCES of the bug (how it impacts users.)
 * DSL could not, previously, support Chinese characters.

The FIX (what was changed to eliminate this bug) and
 * The parser has now been improved to fully support Unicode

RESULTS of the fix (what now happens for users.)
 * Chinese will now render correctly.

Comment 5 Jaroslaw Kijanowski 2009-09-16 14:58:19 UTC
Reopening to change the Fix Version to "future" since tooling patches will not go into the BRMS 5.0.1 release
