securitylevel_name: Public I think this feature should not be too complicated to implement. I changed an asset and did not save it. Human error. But it took me a while to figure out that the error I was having was due to the fact that I did not save after uploading the model (an example) I request that the "save changes" button turns red or something like that, just for usability.

Draft release note text states: https://jira.jboss.org/browse/GUVNOR-352 The software did not indicate that edited items needed to be saved. The Save Changes button for each editor now highlights after changes are made, as a visual prompt for the user. This new functionality works in every major web browser with the exception of Microsoft Internet Explorer.

This is fixed in Drools 5.1, retest for Drools 5.2 in BRMS 5.2
It is not yet fixed Drools project. It seems like they are planning it for Drools 5.3 or 5.4. The related issues are GUVNOR-522, GUVNOR-1108 and GUVNOR-1263.
This will take a long time to fix correctly. Hopefully we can leave it to future versions?
Technical note added. If any revisions are required, please edit the "Technical Notes" field accordingly. All revisions will be proofread by the Engineering Content Services team. New Contents: When editing assets in the BRMS user interface there is no visible feedback mechanism that reminds users to save their changes. This can cause changes to be lost.
