I have a fresh repo, install the mortgages sample (when asked after logging in).
Go to Knowledge Bases -> mortgages -> Business rule assets -> Bankruptcy history

The THEN part has "Set value of explanation" but the value is empty. If you press 'View Source" you will notice that the explanation is set:

a.setExplanation( "has been bankrupt" );

Present also in other rules (no NINJAs, Underage, No bad credit checks).

CheckBoxDslRule is empty and this has been reported in GUVNOR-393.

This is not a regression.

Need clarification on this JIRA for the release notes:

In the rule samples referred to above (Bankruptcy History, No Ninjas, Underage and no bad credit checks) setExplanation did not display the textbox & value in the guided editor although it does appear correctly in the source.

Does this only affect the samples? If you add this into the rule from the guided editor it seems to work ok.

Are there other scenarios that users will encounter this with ?

I am still seeing this behavior in CR1 so I am unsure as to how to document this further

Comment 3 Jaroslaw Kijanowski 2010-03-31 07:24:38 UTC
This should be fixed in CR2.

Comment 4 Jervis Liu 2010-03-31 12:28:20 UTC
This issue has been fixed in CR2. It only affects samples. There is no other scenario that users may encounter this.

Comment 5 Jaroslaw Kijanowski 2010-04-21 11:39:27 UTC
verified in 5.0.2 CR2
