The password for the admin and mailman users is hardcoded right now, which seems like an undesirable situation.

Need some clarification for the release notes:

"can now be set in the components.xml"

Does this mean that those accounts now pull their passwords from JAAS setup, jaas-config-name  etc

Or is it configured with specific elements in components.xml ?

The password for administration and mailman users was hard-coded.  The software has been enhanced to make these user-configurable.  Set them by editing the components.xml  file.
