I tested this in Guvnor 5.2, and found the same problem. Could we please increase the severity of this issue, as the user is facing a moderate impact on usability. They stated, "It causes useablity issues here especially when you have 50+ facts to select with a three line selector, the scroll bar is hard to select and it scrolls too fast." We would like to get this item assigned to someone, and included in a release milestone as soon as possible.
Candidate.
I clicked the "+" symbol next to the "WHEN" section of the "Guided Rule Editor" in 5.3.0.Beta1 with Firefox 5.0.1 and the "Add a condition to the rule" dialog was in excess of 5 lines. Suggest this problem no longer exists.
Need to back-port to 5.2.x branch for BRMS.
Done.
Seems ok. The dialog box takes up about half of the displayed page (in height), slightly more than that. It leaves the empty rows at the bottom if there are not enough facts to show - as reported in comment 4.
Technical note added. If any revisions are required, please edit the "Technical Notes" field accordingly. All revisions will be proofread by the Engineering Content Services team. New Contents: The dialog box displayed in Fire Fox 5 to users attempting to add conditions to a rule was too small and presented usability issues. The dimensions of the dialog box has been adjusted to provide more space for entering new conditions.
