Description of problem: When rebuild perl-SQL-Statement-1.27-1.el6.src.rpm and perl-DBD-CSV-0.22-8.el6.src.rpm in a yum repo which does not contain these two packages, using mock --installdeps of two src rpms shown the following: # ['/usr/bin/yum-builddep', '--nogpgcheck', '--installroot', '/var/lib/mock/sl-6-i386-choonrpms-testing/root/', '/home/mockbuild/Downloads/epel6/perl-SQL-Statement-1.27-1.el6.src.rpm'] Getting requirements for perl-SQL-Statement-1.27-1.el6.src --> perl-ExtUtils-MakeMaker-6.55-119.el6.i686 --> perl-Test-Simple-0.92-119.el6.i686 --> perl-Clone-0.31-3.1.el6.i686 --> perl-Params-Util-1.00-3.el6.i686 Error: No Package found for perl(DBD::CSV) # ['/usr/bin/yum-builddep', '--nogpgcheck', '--installroot', '/var/lib/mock/sl-6-i386-choonrpms-testing/root/', '/home/mockbuild/Downloads/epel6/perl-DBD-CSV-0.22-8.el6.src.rpm'] Getting requirements for perl-DBD-CSV-0.22-8.el6.src --> perl-DBI-1.609-4.el6.i686 --> perl-DBI-1.609-4.el6.i686 Error: No Package found for perl(SQL::Statement) >= 0.1011 Steps to Reproduce: 1. Using any yum repo without the two packages perl-SQL-Statement and perl-DBD-CSV. 2. Use mock --installdeps for the two src rpms will throw you those errors that each Build Requires or Requires each other which is a loop condition to me.

EPEL el6 changed to end-of-life (EOL) status on 2020-11-30. EPEL el6 is no longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any further security or bug fix updates. As a result we are closing this bug. If you can reproduce this bug against a currently maintained version of EPEL please feel free to reopen this bug against that version.
