Description Eric Blake 2011-07-28 13:58:52 UTC
Description of problem:
During yum upgrade, I saw:

Error in PREIN scriptlet in rpm package virt-manager-0.9.0-2.el6.x86_64
/var/tmp/rpm-tmp.Mi5HFC: line 1: fg: no job control
error: %pre(virt-manager-0.9.0-2.el6.x86_64) scriptlet failed, exit status 1
error: install: %pre scriptlet failed (2), skipping virt-manager-0.9.0-2.el6

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
virt-manager-0.9.0-2.el6

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. yum upgrade
2.
3.

Actual results:
upgrade failed because %pre was trying to use job control from a non-interactive script without first using 'set -m' to enable job control.

Expected results:
pre-install script should not die, so that upgrade will actually work
