Description of problem:
ESC crashes when an enrolled smart card is re-inserted after an enrollment.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
RHEL 5.7

How reproducible:
Not consistently reproducible.

Steps to Reproduce:
$ uname -a
Linux dhcp231-57.rdu.redhat.com 2.6.18-274.el5 #1 SMP Fri Jul 8 17:36:59 EDT 2011 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

smartcard used: Gemalto 64K smart card on a SCR 331 reader.

1. Start the ESC application.
2. Burn the phone home url and format a fresh smart card.
3. Enroll the smart card.
4. Remove the smart card from reader and re-insert it.
  
Actual results:
ESC crashes.

Expected results:
ESC should display the enrolled smart card details.

ESC is not being updated for RHEL5.9.  This bug was fixed in 5.8.z, so this bug can be closed.
