Description of problem: virt-manager can not list the hostname when add connection. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): libvirt-0.9.4-0rc1.1.el6.x86_64 kernel-2.6.32-171.el6.x86_64 qemu-kvm-0.12.1.2-2.172.el6.x86_64 virt-manager-0.8.6-4.el6.noarch How reproducible: 100% Steps to Reproduce: 1. Make sure firewall allows mDNS # system-config-firewall Please tick mDNS in pop-up firewall config windows 2. In remote host which is in the same subnet with your host, Make sure it has running guest. Such as dhcp-65-173 #virsh list --all Id Name State ---------------------------------- 2 rhel6_test running 3. Launch virt-manger in your host 4. Click File-> Add Connection, Select hypervisor as QEMU/KVM, Tick Connect to remote host, Method as SSH, Username as root 5. Check hostname dropdown list Actual results: can not find remote host name such as dhcp-65-173 on the droplist Expected results: can find remote host name such as dhcp-65-173 on the droplist Additional info: can do successfully on libvirt-0.8.7-18.el6.x86_64.rpm, so it is a regression bug
