Description weizhang 2011-07-29 08:19:28 UTC
Description of problem:
virt-manager can not list the hostname when add connection.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
libvirt-0.9.4-0rc1.1.el6.x86_64
kernel-2.6.32-171.el6.x86_64
qemu-kvm-0.12.1.2-2.172.el6.x86_64
virt-manager-0.8.6-4.el6.noarch

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Make sure firewall allows mDNS
# system-config-firewall
Please tick mDNS in pop-up firewall config windows

2. In remote host which is in the same subnet with your host, Make sure it has running guest. Such as dhcp-65-173
#virsh list --all
 Id Name State
----------------------------------
  2 rhel6_test running

3. Launch virt-manger in your host
4. Click File-> Add Connection, Select hypervisor as QEMU/KVM, Tick Connect to remote host, Method as SSH, Username as root
5. Check hostname dropdown list

Actual results:
can not find remote host name such as dhcp-65-173 on the droplist

Expected results:
can find remote host name such as dhcp-65-173 on the droplist

Additional info:
can do successfully on libvirt-0.8.7-18.el6.x86_64.rpm, so it is a regression bug
