comment: Plugged in a USB Hard drive (Western Digital My Book Studio Edition II - 6TB). One drive of the RAID set was pulled, so the device presented the SES instead of the hard drive.

Mounted an external RAID 1 Array. It's 2x1TB drives, formatted with NTFS. Disk Utility in fedora shows it as 1 disk of 1TB, which I assume is normal, since it just mirrors to the other disk. I don't know what other info might be helpful, abrt shows this warning/error/crash every time I mount it. Disk Utility reports the model as 'WD WDC WD10EACS-00D6B1' and partition type as 'HPFS/NTFS (0x07)' - not sure if any of that helps!

Comment 3 Dave Jones 2012-04-11 16:06:26 UTC
is this still happening in 2.6.43.1 ?

Comment 4 Karl Hastings 2012-04-12 20:42:39 UTC
It still gives the error in 3.3.1-3.

[root@oak ~]# rpm -q kernel
kernel-3.3.1-3.fc16.x86_64
[root@oak ~]# cat /etc/redhat-release

^^ That's from 3.3.2-6.fc16.x86_64 kernel

Comment 7 Gerard Ryan 2012-08-09 22:14:29 UTC
This no longer happens for me. Seems like it got fixed at some point for 3.4.x kernels.
