Description Akira TAGOH 2011-08-09 11:12:02 UTC
Description of problem:
just realized that this log was output in /var/log/messages.

gnome-session[1179]: WARNING: Failed to start app: Unable to start application: Failed to execute child process "/opt/extra/libexec/gnome-fallback-mount-helper" (No such file or directory)

I'm not sure what exactly is it supposed to do, but I can see gnome-settings-daemon package has that binary under /usr/libexec. so I guess it may be a typo?

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
gnome-session-3.1.3-1.fc16.x86_64

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.log into the fallback session
2.
3.

Actual results:
the above log is output

Expected results:
no such logs is output

Additional info:

Comment 1 Matthias Clasen 2011-08-19 19:07:06 UTC
The fallback mount helper gets installed by gnome-settings-daemon.
I believe this has been fixed in the latest F16 updates.
