Description of problem: The latest upstream version is 4.04 which was released last February (2011-02-16). Expected results: libev 4.04 in EPEL6 (and maybe in EPEL5) Additional info: Release announcement: * libev-4.04 has just been released http://lists.schmorp.de/pipermail/libev/2011q1/001310.html A SRPM of this version is already available for F16 and F17 (rawhide). See: http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/packageinfo?packageID=6987
Ifairr the changelog brings only fixes which are not related to epel or epel packages which required libev. I updated libev last month and decided AGAINST libev 4.04, because I saw no advantages between 4.03 and 4.04 for epel. Libev 4.03 was released and (imho) well tested in current fedora stable. Please reopen this bug, if you have an important reason for this update. Only the fact that a new version is out, is imho generally not a reason for an update. BTW is this imho a misuse of bugzilla, because bugzilla is not a wishlist...
