Description of problem: I wanted to report a bug on a different component, to that effect i wanted to take a screen capture when a combo box is opened. I've failed... hitting PrtSc key only works when there isn't an open combo box on the screen. I've tested both for comboxboxes in firefox (in bugzilla actually) and in gnome-keyboard-properties. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Red Hat Enterprise Linux Workstation release 6.1 (Santiago) gnome-utils-2.28.1-10.el6.x86_64 How reproducible: 100% Steps to Reproduce: 1.click any combox in this bug 2.hit prtsc when it is open 3. Actual results: no save screenshot appears Expected results: save screenshot should appear Additional info:
this is a limitation of the toolkit/windowing system, not the screenshot utility. what you can do, though, is hit alt-f2, type gnome-screenshot, and then manually set a 5 second delay or so, and click the combobox in those five seconds.
