Description of problem:
Need to replace the hard drive. Need to find the fru number of Harddisk.

It's an production server.

Expected results: As soon as possible.


Additional info: Hdparm and dmidecode is not working. Can't install DSA since it is old server. Not supported by IBM support.

I don't know, if it works on RHEL-2.1, but a short google search reveiled this:

# lscfg -vp -l <device name>
