Description of problem: The start up script - jboss_init_redhat.sh - is not provided in the JBoss distribution for the 5.x versions although EAP 4.3.x did contain that start up script. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): EAP 5.1 and EAP 5.1.1 How reproducible: Every time Steps to Reproduce: 1.Download EAP 5.1.1 from access.redhat.com 2.Extract the zip 3.List the contents of the directory /jboss-eap-5.1.1/jboss-as/bin Actual results: You will find jboss_init_hpux.sh and jboss_init_solaris.sh but not jboss_init_redhat.sh Expected results: To find jboss_init_redhat.sh Additional info: My main issue with this is that we are Red Hat... we are providing JBoss, if we are providing specific start up scripts for other linux versions, we should definitely provide a specific start up script for our own OS... especially since we used to provide it previously.
We need it for 6 as well! Should this be a separate bug?
