CPU load diagram

Description of problem:
In an almost empty system (only running gnome-shell), I see CPU peaks
all 20 seconds (kernel-3.1.0-0.rc3.git0.0.fc16.x86_64). It seems that
gnome-shell is busy all 20 secs (similar effect like yesterday with
kernel-3.1.0-0.rc2.git7.2.fc16.x86_64 and Xorg).

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
gnome-shell-3.1.4-1.fc16.x86_64

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Login tinto an empty system
2.
3.

Actual results:
CPU peaks all 20 secs

Expected results:

I don't know whether this is a kernel issue or a gnome-shell issue.

gnome-shell strace

It seems gnome-shell is *always* busy.

Comment 3 Joachim Backes 2011-08-26 07:36:08 UTC
Problem disappeared after re-installing pulseaudio.
