Description of problem: When installing gnome-power-manager from a non-GNOME spin of fedora, it will fail to run unless gnome-settings-daemon is already installed. How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. $ yum install gnome-power-manager 2. yum remove gnome-settings-daemon (if installed) 3. $ gnome-power-manager Actual results: GLib-GIO-Message: Using the 'memory' GSettings backend. Your settings will not be saved or shared with other applications. GLib-GIO-ERROR **: Settings schema 'org.gnome.settings-daemon.plugins.power' is not installed aborting... Expected results: gnome-settings-daemon is installed as a dependency of gnome-power-manager. gnome-power-manager starts up normally.
I've fixed this up in the spec file, and it'll be fixed on the next updates push. Thanks.
