Description clark 2011-09-15 21:32:25 UTC
Description of problem:

There is no minimize or maximize button in any of the windows.
users have to logout to shutdown the computer.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable).
Fedora 15 main release.

How reproducible:
This is very Reproducible.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Install fedora 15 using default gnome desktop with gnome 3 supported hardware.

2. set up a user account

3. login and open any application that requires a window.

4. look for a minimize and maximize button on the window's taskbar.

5. click on the user name in the upper right hand corner and look for a shutdown option

Actual results:

There is no minize or maximize buttons in the window's taskbar.
There is no shutdown option available for the user.

Expected results:

There should be a minimize and a maximize button on every windows taskbar.
There should be a way to easily shutdown the computer when you click on the users name.

Additional info:

The user should not be required to have to download additional packages, set configuration settings, or look up award key combinations to get basic functionality such as minimize, maximize and shutdown from the moment they install and start using the operating system.

This "problem" has nothing to do with the GS extensions.
