Description of Problem: Look, I may just be on crack here.... but I'm not seeing a start script for mysql. It's the oddest thing. 'chkconfig --list mysql' returns nothing. Nada. Zilch. Buppkiss. 'rpm -ql mysql' is the same way. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): mysql-3.23.49-3 How Reproducible: Always, I guess, but note above the comment about the crack. It may be important. 8-) Steps to Reproduce: 1. chkconfig --list mysql 2. rpm -ql mysql | grep init.d 3. Actual Results: <nothing> Expected Results: Something indicative of an init script. Additional Information: Again, note the 'crack' disclaimer above. This just blew me away. I'm expecting that, as SOON as I hit GO here, I'll find it right in front of my face.
Yeah, I'm an idiot. Sorry TEG.
