Having the ability to "steal" a system from another user would be nice. Currently, if there is no user, there is a take button. For admins (and, I suppose, owners) of a system, if there is currently a user, having the ability to "steal" the system from the current user would be nice. It would probably be best if it bypassed the release action. Use case: System is having difficulty, so the user opens a ticket but still retains his user status. Admin comes along to fix it, and "steals" the system so that he has full control over it.
What particular functions have you found lacking as an Admin when a machine is assigned to another user?
In general, the ability to provision. It gets queued up behind the current user. This is sort of a pedantic thing, since I can just release it and take it, but I have to be careful to loan it to myself, first, so that another job doesn't jump in front. Three clicks, vs one click with the steal. Also, I can't always guarantee that the user won't decide to "help" or to check up on the system in the middle of work on it, if we swipe the system from them they don't have the ability to muck around as much.
