This would make it much easier for each writer to find the topics assigned to them in each document build that they have to fix.

Fixed in 20111007-1458

Grouping errors by assigned author is not possible, because each topic that has an error needs to have a unique xref to link to that lists the error. Since authors are not a mutually exclusive tag, it is possible that a topic error could be listed in multiple places under multiple authors if they were grouped by author.

However, I have updated the error reporting to show the tags that are assigned to a topic that has an error. This means you can do a simple text search for a username to find those topics that have an error that belong to a specific author.
