Description James DeCambra 2011-10-12 10:59:46 UTC
SELinux is preventing /usr/lib/firefox-3.6/firefox from 'execmod' accesses on the file /usr/lib/flash-plugin/libflashplayer.so.

***** Plugin allow_execmod (53.1 confidence) suggests **********************

If you want to allow firefox to have execmod access on the libflashplayer.so file
Then you need to change the label on '/usr/lib/flash-plugin/libflashplayer.so'
Do
# semanage fcontext -a -t textrel_shlib_t '/usr/lib/flash-plugin/libflashplayer.so'
# restorecon -v '/usr/lib/flash-plugin/libflashplayer.so'

***** Plugin catchall_boolean (42.6 confidence) suggests *******************

If you want to allow all unconfined executables to use libraries requiring text relocation that are not labeled textrel_shlib_t")
Then you must tell SELinux about this by enabling the 'allow_execmod' boolean.
Do
setsebool -P allow_execmod 1

***** Plugin catchall (5.76 confidence) suggests ***************************

If you believe that firefox should be allowed execmod access on the libflashplayer.so file by default.
Then you should report this as a bug.
You can generate a local policy module to allow this access.
Do
allow this access for now by executing:
# grep firefox /var/log/audit/audit.log | audit2allow -M mypol
# semodule -i mypol.pp
