Are you still seeing this issue? What does 'lpstat -s' say?
Hmm, I need to see if I still have my Fedora 16 Beta USB stick. If I don't I'll create a new one and do a yum update... otherwise I'll do a yum update and try it agin. But looking at the other bug reports I filed at the time: #grep -H '^*NickName:' /etc/cups/ppd/*.ppd /etc/cups/ppd/PSC-1600-series.ppd:*NickName: "HP PSC 1600 Series, hpcups 3.11.10" Full debugging output: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/attachment.cgi?id=528116
Created a new Fedora 16 Beta LiveUSB and fully updated... the issue is no longer showing up. $ grep -H '^*NickName:' /etc/cups/ppd/*.ppd /etc/cups/ppd/PSC-1600-series.ppd:*NickName: "HP PSC 1600 Series, hpcups 3.11.10" Not sure what changed... other than hplip is not installed. $ rpm -qi hplip package hplip is not installed
OK, must have been fixed somehow in the interim. Thanks for re-testing.
