Since RHEL 6.2 External Beta has begun, and this bug remains unresolved, it has been rejected as it is not proposed as exception or blocker. Red Hat invites you to ask your support representative to propose this request, if appropriate and relevant, in the next release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
Thanks for the report, but mixing two distributions together is never a good idea. It can't work properly - that's one of the main reasons why EPEL-6 repository exists: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/EPEL . So, as this configuration is not supported, I will probably close this as NOTABUG, but I'll check it briefly before doing that.
