We have the same bug for vlc. Do you know what you were doing when this happened?

Hi Miroslav, No. I do not have yumex installed. I didn't do anything out of the ordinary. In fact, I haven't even used vlc since I installed it. Thanks, Ankur
Any idea what does gnome-shell do?
Since this is an access check, I think gnome-shell is just running through all executables and doing an access(FILE,X_OK)
