Description Jiri Koten 2011-10-14 12:20:40 UTC
Description of problem:
I have T500 in docking station connected to external monitor. When I lock the screen and then undock the laptop (i.e. disconnect the external monitor) the laptop screen flickers and my desktop appears for a second then unlock dialog is displayed. Also the same happens the other way - when the external monitor is connected.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
gnome-screensaver-2.28.3-15.el6

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. lock the screen
2. connect/disconnect external monitor

Actual results:
Desktop appears for a brief moment

Expected results:
the locked screen should remain blank all the time.

Similar behavior can be observed in multi-user env. When I have two users logged in, and I logout one of them then I can see the other's desktop for a brief moment before gdm or lock screen kicks in. This is probably related to Xorg fast user switching.
