Description of problem:

Fn keys on a toshiba laptop (see lspcii output below) are not working

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install and run specified build on the hardware (tested on live DVD)
2. Press a few fn keys
  
Actual results:
Nothing happens

Expected results:
Depending on keys pressed - mute/unmute, change of backlight brightness, sleep

The same here with Laptop Fujitsu Lifebook E8420.
The FN-Keys don't change the backlight. The symbol occurs on the screen, but the backlight doesn't change the brightness. In gnome-shell the slider in the upper right menu works fine.

Many minor releases have shipped for RHEL6.  If you still believe this to be a critical problem, please submit a new BZ against the latest version.
