Description of problem: The O time work complexity of KDM to KDE login needs reviewing, it should not take more than a second or two for a quad core i7, 7200rpm disk machine with 4GB of ram to load a desktop manager. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Linux dexter.auroraux.org 3.1.0-0.rc9.git0.0.fc16.x86_64 #1 SMP Wed Oct 5 15:30:54 UTC 2011 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux How reproducible: Login to KDE4 with KDM with all system updates applied. Actual results: KDE4 takes anywhere from 40seconds to 1min to login. Expected results: Desktop within 1-5seconds. Additional info: Fedora 16 Beta
