Description James Slagle 2011-10-18 11:49:09 UTC
We need to tell users to disable SELinux as a installation requirement in the documentation. This would probably go in section 2.1.

The text could say something like:

SELinux must be disabled or in permissive mode in order for RHUI to function properly. To disable SELinux, open the file /etc/selinux/config in an editor and change SELINUX=enforcing to either SELINUX=permissive or SELINUX=disabled. Save and close the file. Reboot the system once this change has been applied.

We should never tell anyone to disable SELinux. Period. You do not tell people to disable SECurity settings in order to install something. What is the problem?

Comment 23 James Slagle 2012-02-06 21:37:04 UTC
QA to verify SELinux support

Comment 24 Kedar Bidarkar 2012-02-20 15:07:38 UTC
No AVC denial messages found in logs.
Also the clients were able to install when all the RHUI nodes where running with
SELINUX in ENFORCING mode.

Moving to verified state.

Released in RHUI 2.0.2
