Description of problem: When adding "memory_pools off" to the default squid.conf (installed with squid-3.2.0.13-1.fc16.i686), squid does not start anymore. I've found a buffer overflow but the troubles persist - needs more investigation.
squid-3.2.0.13-2.fc16 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 16. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/squid-3.2.0.13-2.fc16
I can confirm the bug is fixed with squid-3.2.0.13-3.fc16
