Description of problem: corosync sets the permissions for /var/log/cluster to 700. cman sets the permissions to 755. The problem is that rpm -qV will always fail on at least one of them. (09:36:17) [root@marathon-01:/var/log]$ rpm -qV cman (09:36:20) [root@marathon-01:/var/log]$ rpm -qV corosync .M....... /var/log/cluster Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): corosync-1.4.1-4.el6.x86_64 cman-3.0.12.1-23.el6.x86_64 How reproducible: 100% Steps to Reproduce: 1. rpm -qV corosync cman 2. 3. Actual results: .M....... /var/log/cluster Expected results: no differences reported by rpm -qV Additional info:

Technical note added. If any revisions are required, please edit the "Technical Notes" field accordingly. All revisions will be proofread by the Engineering Content Services team. New Contents: Cause Install both RPM for corosync and cman. Both packages owns same directory but with different rights. Consequence rpm verify fails ether on corosync or cman Fix Ship corosync rpm with same rights as cman does. Result rpm verify no longer fails.
