Description Russell Steffen 2002-10-01 13:34:37 EDT
From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.1) Gecko/20020827

Description of problem:
The text mode installer lets you create LVM pysical volumes, but omits the "LVM"
button from the graphical installer used to create volume groups and logical
volumes. This is an unfortunate omission as the trext install is most likely to
be used on servers where the LVM is of most use.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Begin a RH 8 text mode install.
2. Problem is on partition creation screen (Disk Druid)

You can create LVM volumes using the lvm set of tools on VC2 at the beginning of
the install and the installer will see them by the time you reach disk druid.

The graphical installer is going to have the majority of the new features and
text mode will have basic functionality but not necessarily all new features.
