Description of problem: I am attempting to install Fedora 15 s390x under z/VM 6.1. I downloaded all of the files from http://secondary.fedoraproject.org/pub/fedora-secondary/releases/15/Fedora/s390x/os/images/. I changed the generic.prm to add the disk and networking information. The install begins, Anaconda runs and does various things such as starting networking and formatting disks. However a window then appears that says:- Unable to read package metadata. This may be due to a missing repodata directory. Please ensure that your install tree has been correctly generated. Cannot retrieve repository metadata (repomd.xml) for repository : updates Please verify its path and try again. Exit install Edit Retry Retry produces the same result, Edit does not work because the install is being done in text mode, so I have to Exit install. Shortly before the window appears the following messages appeared on the console:- WARN yum.YumBase: Repo Fedora 15 - s390x - Test Updates Debug contains -source or -debuginfo, excluding WARN yum.YumBase: Repo Fedora 15 - Test Updates Source contains -source or -debuginfo, excluding WARN yum.YumBase: Repo Fedora 15 - s390x - Updates - Debug contains -source or -debuginfo, excluding WARN yum.YumBase: Repo Fedora 15 - Updates Source contains -source or -debuginfo, excluding WARN yum.YumBase: Repo Fedora 15 - s390x - Debug contains -source or -debuginfo, excluding WARN yum.YumBase: Repo Fedora 15 - Source contains -source or -debuginfo, excluding I'm not sure how to proceed from here, any suggestions gratefully received.
