+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #695280 +++ Description of problem: Direct anaconda to install packages from nfs repository of iso images(contain several boot.isos, live cds and dvds) by either repo=nfsiso: or askmethod. Before package selection step, installer claimed it cann't find the install image. The anaconda.log also shows that it didn't recognize the correct dvd.iso among the images. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): anaconda 15.27 F15 beta rc2 How reproducible: 100% Steps to Reproduce: 0. Prepare nfs repository with a set of isos 1. https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA/TestCases/InstallSourceNfsIso Actual results: Unable to find and mount the correct iso Additional info: This method went smooth if there's only one expected iso in the nfs server. --- Additional comment from rhe on 2011-04-11 06:06:04 EDT --- Created attachment 491190 [details] screen.png --- Additional comment from rhe on 2011-04-11 06:06:36 EDT --- Created attachment 491191 [details] anaconda.log --- Additional comment from rhe on 2011-04-11 06:07:21 EDT --- Created attachment 491192 [details] mount info --- Additional comment from rhe on 2011-04-11 06:09:44 EDT --- Proposed as F15Blocker. --- Additional comment from clumens on 2011-04-11 10:51:00 EDT --- It has always been our recommendation that you only have the correct ISOs in the directory you point anaconda to. I believe the test case and documentation should be updated to reflect that. --- Additional comment from awilliam on 2011-04-15 15:11:44 EDT --- Discussed at 2011-04-15 blocker review meeting. As this does not mean the install method in question is actually non-functional, rejected as a blocker. -- Fedora Bugzappers volunteer triage team https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/BugZappers
