Description of problem: I have installed Aqua Data Studio which is proprietary software and have not packaged to rpm. It is installed in /opt. Then I want add entry in menu. Start, add it, update and... nothing. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): $ rpm -qf `which kmenuedit` kdebase-workspace-4.7.2-14.fc16.x86_64 How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. $ LANG=C kmenuedit --nofork QDBusConnection: session D-Bus connection created before QCoreApplication. Application may misbehave. 2. Add any entry. Fill name and run command. 3. Press save button. Saving and database update indication appeared and in console: kmenuedit(4824)/kdecore (services) KServicePrivate::init: The desktop entry file "/home/pasha/.local/share/applications/Aqua Data Studio-7.desktop" has Type= "Application" but no Exec line X Error: BadWindow (invalid Window parameter) 3 Major opcode: 20 (X_GetProperty) Resource id: 0x20000be X Error: BadWindow (invalid Window parameter) 3 Major opcode: 20 (X_GetProperty) Resource id: 0x2000104 Actual results: Nothing more. No entry in menu. Expected results: New created entry. Additional info: Digit in /home/pasha/.local/share/applications/Aqua Data Studio-7.desktop continiosely increased, so, files created. No any manual menu manipulations was done previosely.
Forgot mention. Whaе is very annoying also - no any error indication in GUI!
