Description Jan Vorcak 2011-11-08 14:41:23 UTC
Description of problem:
If I connect my other monitor, and I'm running my session with two desktops (I'm not mirroring) I can't maximize flash player (usually some youtube video)
It doesn't work in Firefox, Opera and in any other browser
Funny thing is that if I open some window on the other desktop, I'm able to maximize flash player.
So the only way how can I maximize flash player on my additional monitor is to open any GUI application on the notebook's desktop.
Some flash videos can be maximized with no problems, and some of them can't (for instance youtube videos)

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:
Always, HW - LCD Dell ST2220LC, other monitors I've tested work fine

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Connect additional monitor
2. Open firefox or any other browser on this monitor's desktop
3. Make sure that no applications run on the other desktop
4. Try to maximize some youtube video

Actual results:
Video fails to maximize and runs in normal mode
Sometimes you see it maximized on the second monitor for a moment (~0.3 sec)

Expected results:
Video should be maximized on the monitor's desktop

Additional info:
21.5" LCD Dell ST2220LC - LCD display Dell ST2220LC 21.5"

I don't know where to find relevant log file, so I can reproduce it and send whatever you'll need

Comment 2 Fedora End Of Life 2012-08-07 18:31:22 UTC
This message is a notice that Fedora 15 is now at end of life. Fedora
has stopped maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 15. It is
Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no
longer maintained. At this time, all open bugs with a Fedora 'version'
of '15' have been closed as WONTFIX.

(Please note: Our normal process is to give advanced warning of this
occurring, but we forgot to do that. A thousand apologies.)

Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you
plan to fix it in a currently maintained version, feel free to reopen
this bug and simply change the 'version' to a later Fedora version.

Bug Reporter: Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry that
we were unable to fix it before Fedora 15 reached end of life. If you
would still like to see this bug fixed and are able to reproduce it
against a later version of Fedora, you are encouraged to click on
"Clone This Bug" (top right of this page) and open it against that
version of Fedora.

Although we aim to fix as many bugs as possible during every release's
lifetime, sometimes those efforts are overtaken by events. Often a
more recent Fedora release includes newer upstream software that fixes
bugs or makes them obsolete.

The process we are following is described here:
