Description of problem: The style definitions for drop down menus of Adwaita theme do not include borders. Hence once menu is show it can hardly be distinguished from the background (especially if it's also white/bright). See the attached screenshot. I'm not sure if the same happens under if gnome-shell is running, as I'm using a fallback mode due to hardware issues. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): adwaita-gtk3-theme-3.2.1-2.fc16.i686 adwaita-gtk2-theme-3.2.1-2.fc16.i686 How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Use Adwaita GTK theme 2. Open a drop down menu 3. Actual results: Menu hardly distinguishable from the background Expected results: A border around a menu. Additional info:

Reassigning to gtk3. I wasn't able to track down adwaita-gtk3-theme component, and couldn't really find anything better.
Looks likem the assignee was not reset when changing the component, doing that now.
Due to the updated Adwaita GTK2 theme, this is now also related to GTK2 applications, making them nearly unusable on non-GNOME DEs. assigned to gnome-themes-standard.
This was fixed upstream in https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=660271 The fix will be available in gnome-themes-standard 3.6.1 which will come with F18.
Thanks Cosimo, you really made my day. And sorry for being somewhat harsh.
